In defiance of dire weather forecasts, Satchmo SummerFest 2014 was largely rain free, giving the world-class roster of performers plenty to celebrate.

From the Smoking Time Jazz Club on Friday to the Shotgun Jazz Band on Saturday afternoon and all the way through to Kermit Ruffins’ epic closing set Sunday night, this year’s Satchmo SummerFest was one for the record books.
