A supergroup of New Orleans musicians gathered to throw a show in tribute to the late Joe Cocker at One Eyed Jacks on Saturday, March 26.
Mad Dogs and Englishmen: A New Orleans Tribute to Joe Cocker consisted of a performance of Cocker’s famous 1970 live album. The concert was set to take place on the 46th anniversary of the Fillmore East concert from which Mad Dogs and Englishmen was originally created.
The bandstand was crowded with a large gathering of well-established local musicians that included, Alex McMurray, Tom Worrell, Dana Abbott, Brad Walker, Marc Stone, Lucas Davenport, Marc Paradis, Brad Walker, Margie Perez, Antoine Diel, Arsene DeLay and many more.
