Lingua Ignota, touring her critically acclaimed album “Sinner Get Ready” and local artist Silver Godling, who released a new album titled “Jenni” last week, performed at Gasa Gasa Saturday, November 12.
“Sinner Get Ready” is Lingua Ignota’s fourth album and was inspired by her fascination with Catholicism and religious communities in rural Pennsylvania.
Silver Godling’s “Jenni” was written about the death of her sister who had cancer. She created a multimedia exhibition to accompany the album dedicated to her sister.
Gasa Gasa sold a wine deal for “The Blood of Christ” and Eucharist wafers, aka “The Body of Christ.” The 200-capacity venue was sold out weeks before the event.
