The 2015 Ultmate Lindy Hop Showdown kicked off yesterday with music and contests at the Old U.S. Mint. Festivities started back today with a second line through the French Quarter.
Musicians, dancers and enthusiasts gathered at Washington Square Park before making their way down Royal Street into the quarter. Eventually, the dancing procession landed at the Jazz Market where they were greeted by The Palmetto Bug Stompers for more music.
Live music and dancing contests will continue tonight at the Wax Museum.
