[Photos] krewedelusion ‘Double Dips’ for Episode 13 with Benny Jones Sr. and Roots of Music

The city’s most surreal Mardi Gras krewe, krewedelusion “double-dipped” with great local music this year by appointing Benny Jones Sr., leader of the Treme Brass Band and founder of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, as their king and “The Sultan of Syncopation.” In addition, the music education program Roots of Music showed off their hard work during the parade as well.

Normally marching after Krewe du Vieux, the parade happened the night after on Sunday, February 5.
