Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen headlined the last day of this season’s Jazz in the Park, with a performance in Armstrong park on Thursday, June 9.
The Gentlemen got the park shaking over a number of New Orleans’ favorites like The Meters’ ‘Just Kissed My Baby’ and Professor Longhair’s ‘Tipitina’s,’ also pulling at times from his Grammy Award-winning 2015 release Go Go Juice, including an encore with the album’s opening track ‘Pump It Up.’
