The first weekend of Jazz Fest 2014 closed out with a healthy dose of the blues. Rock legend Eric Clapton took the crowd of a tour of the blues with an acoustic and electric set on the Acura stage.

Earlier in the afternoon, the North Mississippi Allstars put on an energetic set complete with improvised guitars, an electric washboard solo, and a big bass drum. Over in the Jazz tent, John Boutté wowed the crowd as always, while Bonerama and Galactic had great sets on the Samsung Galaxy stage.
