Birthday parties in New Orleans are always filled with friends, fun, laughter, and music. Irvin Mayfield’s 37th birthday party was no exception.

Held at the New Orleans Jazz Market on Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard, Mayfield’s birthday party had a 20s gambling theme, so there were gambling tables, vintage cocktails, and plenty of flapper style to go around.

Mayfield joined Glen David Andrews on stage to really get the party started after a tuxedoed Tom McDermott got the evening started.

Trixie Minx and members of Fleur de Tease were on hand to escort NOJO trumpeter and Trumpet Mafia bandleader Ashlin Parker as well as deliver Mayfield his birthday cake.
