Gypsy punk band Gogol Bordello took over the House of Blues on Friday, March 6, 2015, with local Russian mafia band Debauche kicking things off as the opening act.
While Debauche put on a typically high energy set, it’s difficult not to be dwarfed by the force of nature that is Gogol Bordello’s leader Eugene Hütz.
Hütz, shirtless after the opening song, sprayed wine all over the crowd at one point as he twisted and contorted his body in time with the music.
Both bands have built their respective reputations around never letting a dull moment invade a performance, and they certainly weren’t letting anything slow them down for the House of Blues crowd.
