Elvis Costello swung through New Orleans for a marathon set at the Saenger Theatre on Saturday night. The rocker dug deep into his catalog for the show, which featured material from his work with The Imposters, The Attractions, The New Basement Tapes and his joint album with the late Allen Toussaint, as well as some choice covers and solo tunes.
Costello also got help from a few friends and collaborators during the show, including his current touring partners Larkin Poe and New Orleans icons the Preservation Hall Jazz Band (unfortunately photographers were not allowed to shoot during the collaborative songs).
