Following an aborted opening day due to violent storming on Bayou St. John, the Bayou Boogaloo team worked all night to bring the festival back to life. On Saturday, May 19, everything was ready to roll as the sun rolled out. Food, floats and music from Naughty Professor, Magnetic Ear, the 101 Runners feat. Juan Pardo and Monk Boudreaux made the second day a brilliant opening.

Festivities continued under a blazing sun on Sunday, May 20, as stages were graced by Honey Island Swamp Band, Deacon John and many more.
