The 33rd French Quarter Festival kicked off on Thursday, April 7, 2016.

The festival opened with a second line through the Vieux Carré, before the first five stages opened, starting a day-long series of more than twenty performances by local artists.

See Sonny Landreth, John “Papa” Gros, Lynn Drury, Delfeayo Marsalis, the Tin Men and many more as they kicked off the festival on this sunny Thursday afternoon.
