Mardi Gras Indians, traditional tribal dancers, and a huge crowd brought Congo Square in Armstrong Park to life for the 2015 Congo Square New World Rhythms Fest.
Big Chief Monk Boudreaux joined Big Chief Bo Dollis Jr. and the Wild Magnolias on the stage for a funky set of Mardi Gras Indian music, members of the N’Fungola Sibo Dance Theater twisted and flipped all over the stage, and DJ Truth Universal lit up the crowd.
All in a fitting tribute to the iconic Congo Square.
