The philanthropic eatery Liberty’s Kitchen is inviting every one of its supporters to the organization’s main fundraising event, Come Grow With Us, to celebrate ten years of impact. For years, Liberty’s Kitchen has used its platform to open up opportunities for the youth of New Orleans through avenues of workforce training, leadership development and support of healthy lifestyle choices. The non-profit organization has always made it a point to use all of its donations, resources and income to focus on teaching life skills and job training to at-risk youth, as well as contributing to the community. This event is crucial to keep its operation running smoothly and effectively in our community.

The event will be held on Friday, September 20 at the Ace Hotel this year. It will showcase the accomplishments of recent alumni in its Youth Development Program, feature over 20 of New Orleans renowned chefs, reward community members, and so much more. Additionally, there will be open bars, live music and a live auction for culinary cuisine experiences from around the world. Giving back to the community can be as easy as showing up and buying a delicious plate to eat.  The event will be co-chaired by Chef Susan Spicer and Patrick Young. The event is presented by Ruby Slipper Cafe.
