This Sunday, the Perfect Gentlemen Social Aid & Pleasure Club hosts the first second line of 2012, scheduled to start a little later than usual at 12:45 p.m.

The parade leaves from the corner of Canal and Rampart streets, moving uptown on Rampart/Oretha Castle Haley, then turning on MLK before continuing uptown on Simon Bolivar/Lasalle. At Washington, the second line turns towards the River, making its first stop at the Purple Rain Lounge at Washington & S. Saratoga. It then takes Danneel uptown to Louisiana, and makes another stop at the Sandpiper Lounge. The parade continues up Louisiana to Lasalle, taking that to Washington where it turns towards the Lake, finally taking Toledano after Claiborne. The second line disbands at Tapp’s II Bar on S. Rocheblave.
