Citing health concerns, Paul McCartney announced today that all performances of his “Out There” tour scheduled for June – including a stop in New Orleans on June 19 – have been postponed.
“I’m sorry but it’s going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again. I’m feeling great but taking my docs’ advice to take it easy for just a few more days. Look forward to seeing you all soon,” McCartney said in a statement on his website.
The New Orleans show at the Smoothie King Center will now take place on Saturday, October 11, 2014.
A further statement on McCartney’s website cited a virus that recently caused the postponement of appearances in Japan and Korea as the reason behind the delay for the U.S. shows.
