Choreographer/dance coach and television host Tamica Lee announced via Instagram that “Drive-Bye-Karaoke,” a new New Orleans-based show will have auditions for local dancers and vocalists. The show is seeking top vocalists and dancers in the New Orleans area to audition for a chance to become a performer on the show’s inaugural season. Five finalists will be selected to execute several high-energy performances at distinct locations throughout the greater metropolitan area. Viewers will virtually vote for their favorite singer or dancer having the final decision on which performers will take home $10,000 at the finale. The show will be hosted by Tamica Lee and Jeff Lane.
Tamica Lee has appeared on major network television shows and was the former morning news anchor of ABC affiliate, WGNO. She has traveled the world as a professional dancer and was an NFL cheerleader and dance coach. She co-founded Son of a Saint with her brother, Sonny Lee, and serves as a board member for local nonprofit Sideline Pass. She is best known for her role on Bravo’s Southern Charm New Orleans.
Master of Ceremonies and Voice Coach Jeff Lane is a singer and songwriter who has been a part of the music scene since 1995. His music journey began with the band Krush U.K. with whom he produced three albums as a songwriter. For the past 25 years, Lane has been performing with the nationally touring The Molly Ringwalds as its lead vocalist. He also performs in The Beatles cover band, Newspaper Taxi.
