The 29th edition of the New Orleans Film Festival is under way. The festivities were kicked off at the Orpheum Theater on Wednesday eve, October 17, 2018.
The festival’s grand opening night started off with red carpet arrivals at the Orpheum Theater, followed by a screening of Peter Farrelly’s already acclaimed and award-winning Green Book. Farrelly participated in a q&a after the screening, joined by a panel of writers and contributors to the film.
As soon as the questions wrapped up, the Kinfolk Brass Band led a large crowd of film industry workers and enthusiasts through the Central Business District, second lining down Canal Street to an after-party at the Jung Hotel.
