One Eyed Jacks, a live music venue formerly located at 615 Toulouse Street, will reopen in the space that was formerly occupied by Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville and B.B. King’s Blues Club at 1104 Decatur Street. The opening date will be Friday, February 25, with music acts booked through Mardi Gras weekend.

One Eyed Jacks is owned by Ryan Hesseling and Rio Hackford. The pop-up food vendor Bub’s NOLA will take over the kitchen.
One Eyed Jacks closed on Toulouse Street in 2020 and the building was reopened as the Toulouse Theater in October 2021, operated by Ben Jaffe of Preservation Hall, his wife Jeanette Jaffe and Clayton and Boo Randle. In 2021, Nola.com wrote: “Preservation Hall proprietor Ben Jaffe wasn’t necessarily looking for another music venue, especially during a pandemic…But he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to acquire the former Toulouse Street home of One Eyed Jacks.”
