The Ogden Museum of Southern Art invites the public to join its festive monthly program, Ogden After Hours, featuring the multi-talented artist Casmé on Thursday, December 19, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Casmé, a celebrated New Orleans native and former contestant on NBC’s The Voice (Season 19) under Team John Legend, will perform a selection of holiday carols guaranteed to inspire joy and seasonal cheer. Known for her powerhouse vocals and genre-spanning artistry, Casmé brings a unique blend of soul, funk, blues and more to every performance.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Casmé has performed alongside music legends such as Keith Urban, Eric Benet and Tony! Toni! Toné! Her latest project, Gumbo, showcases her versatility across multiple genres. Casmé is also known as a motivational speaker and actress in addition to her musical career.
Beyond the live music, the event will feature a variety of activities and offerings for attendees of all ages, including acash bar with a special holiday-crafted cocktail, amini holiday market pop-up showcasing ceramics by Lily Fein and jewelry by Earth Reverie, afood pop-up by Chef Linda, the Yakamein Lady, offering her renowned New Orleans comfort food and festive holiday art crafts for children to enjoy, adding a family-friendly touch to the evening.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children, while Ogden Museum members can attend free of charge. Non-members are encouraged to explore membership opportunities to enjoy complimentary access to Ogden After Hours and other museum benefits. This monthly event highlights the diverse art and culture of the American South, featuring live music, family activities and art exhibitions.
