Presented by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO), this event showcases a unique blend of Afro-Cuban folklore, Jamaican Dancehall, Trap and Afro-Beat, arranged by LPO violist Sixto Franco and performed live with the LPO. Also on Thursday, catch the next installment of the Rhythm & Roses Concert Series featuring the soulful sounds of Erica Falls at the Historic BK House & Gardens from 6 to 9 p.m. Set in the picturesque Parterre Garden on Ursulines at Chartres Street, this musical series promises an evening of stellar entertainment in a beautiful setting. Don’t miss Eric Johanson and Ghalia Volt at The Broadside on Friday, March 29th from 8 to 11 p.m. Both artists had an outstanding 2023 with extensive touring and their albums topping the Billboard Blues charts. Freret Street Festival

The Freret Street Festival returns on Saturday, March 30 from 11 to 6 p.m. With over 200 art and food vendors there’s sure to be something for everyone. The festival also features live local and regional music on three stages. The lineup includes renowned artists such as Honey Island Swamp Band, Margie Perez, Ghalia Volt and many more as well as captivating African Dance and Brazilian Capoeira demonstrations. Get ready for the 1st Annual Bunny Ball on Saturday, March 30 at The Rabbit Hole. This event features a stellar lineup of bands and DJs across both outdoor and indoor stages. Don’t miss performances by the legendary Dirty Dozen Brass Band, New Thousand Band, Saxkixave, Victor Campbell and a lineup of top DJs including DJ Mark Farina, I.am.funke, IYKYK (Otto and NileAshton) and Heelturn.
