NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Contest, known for discovering hidden musical gems, is back on the road for a thrilling summer tour. This year, the tour will make stops in 10 cities across the United States, showcasing the talent of the 2024 Contest winner and featuring outstanding artists from each local area.
With nearly 7,000 unsigned bands and artists entering the Tiny Desk Contest in 2024, the competition was fierce. NPR Music’s judges carefully selected one winner who will have the prestigious opportunity to perform behind the Tiny Desk at NPR’s headquarters. However, the contest also unveiled numerous incredible musicians deserving of recognition.
Teaming up with NPR Member stations like WWNO and others, the Tiny Desk Contest tour promises unforgettable performances and showcases a diverse array of musical talent from various corners of the country.

May 21: Washington, D.C. with WAMU
June 7: New Orleans, La. with WWNO
June 9: Seattle, Wash. with KEXP, KUOW, KNKX
June 11: Los Angeles, Calif. with LAist, KCRW, KVCR
June 13: Petaluma, Calif. with KALW, KEXP, KRCB, KQED
June 22: Brooklyn, N.Y. with WBGO
June 23: Philadelphia, Pa. with WHYY, WRTI, WXPN
July 11: Austin, Texas with KUTX
July 13: Atlanta, Ga. with WABE, GPB
July 15: Chicago, Ill. with WBEZ, Vocalo
Each event promises an intimate concert experience, featuring not only the 2024 Tiny Desk Contest winner but also showcasing local Tiny Desk Contest artists from each city.
