The City of New Orleans has announced that this month, the New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission will kick off the Spring 2025 season of Movies in the Park, presented by FOX Sports. The season begins Friday, March 7, with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at Milne Recreation Center, 5420 Franklin Ave.

Thanks to FOX Sports’ sponsorship, this year’s Movies in the Park series will continue to bring families together for a free, fun, and relaxing outdoor movie experience. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for comfortable viewing. Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks or a picnic.

Participants under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Pets, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, firearms, weapons, smoking and outdoor cooking are not allowed. Movies begin at dusk, and each screening has an alternate indoor location in case of inclement weather.
