NOLAxNOLA and Relix Launch Inaugural NOLAxNOLA Talks Conference

NOLAxNOLA, in collaboration with Relix magazine, will host the first-ever NOLAxNOLA Talks conference on October 3 and 4 at The Double Dealer. The two-day event, which runs alongside the fourth annual NOLAxNOLA series, will feature seven panels with notable speakers from the live entertainment industry, local leaders and cultural influencers. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussions on topics shaping the future of New Orleans’ entertainment scene, as well as broader industry trends across the U.S.

“NOLAxNOLA celebrates once-in-a-lifetime concerts and collaborations adding additional layers to the wonderful music scene that unfolds nightly on the block and streets of New Orleans,” Said Sig Greenebaum, co-founder of NOLAxNOLA. “This is a city that thrives on creativity and collaboration, and we’re thrilled to work with Relix to launch NOLAxNOLA Talks for an even more enriching experience for our attendees. The goal is to create an opportunity to learn more about the business around our country’s great music and culture and as well provide a fertile opportunity to meet and network with other talented, like minded folks.”

Panel discussions will explore a variety of topics, such as the unique appeal of New Orleans’ legendary music venues, sustainable event practices, and the economic implications of the city’s growing live entertainment industry. The event aims to spark dialogue about New Orleans’ evolving role in the national cultural landscape and its potential as a hub for live entertainment.

NOLAxNOLA, founded in 2021, is a coalition of over 50 music venues in New Orleans, hosting more than 300 shows annually. The initiative was originally launched to support the city’s music scene as it emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past four years, it has become an annual tradition, promoting New Orleans’ vibrant music and cultural community.

Relix, a trusted authority in the live music industry since 1974, will lend its expertise in producing the event. Known for its coverage of live music and culture, Relix has been an influential voice in the music community for 50 years.

Tickets for NOLAxNOLA Talks are priced at $25 and available through the NOLAxNOLA website. For more information, including the full agenda and speaker lineup, visit www.nolaxnola.com.
