Those looking to attend the upcoming NOLA Funk Fest, scheduled for October 20-22 at the New Orleans Jazz Museum, are in for a unique surprise this Saturday, October 14. 

Peaches Records, the well-known establishment located at 4318 Magazine Street in Uptown, will host this giveaway event. From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., festival-goers and vinyl enthusiasts can participate in a hunt for 50 hidden tickets placed throughout the store’s extensive record stacks.

A board of clues will be on display within Peaches Records to aid attendees in their search, directing individuals to specific locations where tickets have been hidden.

The inaugural NOLA Funk Fest features 34 acts over three days. Funk enthusiasts can look forward to enjoying the music from October 20 to 22 at the New Orleans Jazz Museum.

To add to the festivities, those at Peaches Records can enjoy a live in-store performance by this month’s OffBeat Magazine cover artist Erica Falls, one of the artists set to perform at NOLA Funk Fest. Moe’s BBQ will also be on-site to provide catering.

In addition to the Peaches Records event, NOLA Funk Fest and New Orleans & Company will launch a citywide scavenger hunt, allowing locals and visitors to win ten sets of festival tickets.
