On October 24, the Grammy-Award Winning New Orleans Jazz Orchestra will kick off its official fall season starting with NPR’s “Jazz Night in America” featuring Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah. Later that week, on Thursday, October 26, NOJO performs its Showcase Concert.

The concert showcase represents the first performance since the organization filled its new leadership roles in 2017. Artistic Director and Bandleader Adonis Rose and NOJO President and CEO Sarah Bell will help steer the organization through its forthcoming season as NOJO’s Artistic Development Committee expands to include Ellis Marsalis and Arts Educator and Theater Executive Cassie Worley (who join longtime supporters Dee Dee Bridgewater and Mikki Shepard)

Both events will take place at the New Orleans Jazz Market (1436 Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard) with doors opening at 6p.m. and performances at 7:30p.m. More events to be announced soon and tickets are available at www.TheNOJO.com.
