Are a full glass of water, some food and couple of ibuprofen not doing the trick anymore? Then you may be in luck. A new company in town is offering a different kind of way for you to get over that awful hangover.
The on-demand service–known as The I.V. Doc–will come to your home, hotel room or office to provide a 30-minute I.V. hydration therapy aimed at helping you recover from your night out in a timely fashion. The therapies, which are based on methods used in hospital emergency rooms, replenish the body with water, vitamins and electrolytes.
The I.V. Doc already operates in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Franicso and Park City. Considering the nature of this town, it’s no surprise that they decided to expand to New Orleans.
“Going to the doctor or receiving healthcare services at emergency rooms can be a very unpleasant experience, especially when you are on a vacation,” founder Dr. Adam Nadelson explains in a press release. “Our clients visit The Big Easy on numerous occasions, and we thought we would open our service, that they have already call on when at home, to them – in New Orleans. Whether it’s a bachelor/bachelorette party or a weekend getaway with your friends, we are confident that New Orleans will respond well to The I.V. Doc.”
According to the company, clients are able to eat, text, talk on their cell phones and otherwise function while going through the 30-minute therapy. They also offer a variety of treatments, as well as a variety of supplemental vitamins.
