Tom Thayer, previously of d.b.a. on Frenchman Street, has a New Suit! Thayer recently launched New Suit Entertainment and has two exciting shows coming up at The Broadside.
On April 19th, ChazFest Goes Abroad will take over the stage with an eclectic mix of bands including Morning 40 Federation, Rory Danger & The Danger Dangers, Valparaiso Men’s Chorus, and more. With performances running from 2pm to 2am across two stages, attendees can immerse themselves in a diverse array of musical talents for just $40 admission.
Then, mark your calendars for May 4 as New Suit Presents: CURE ALL featuring Robert Walter, Johnny Vidacovich, James Singleton & Will Bernard takes the stage promising an unforgettable night of jazz and funk fusion from 11:30pm to 2am, with tickets priced at $30.
The Broadside is located at 600 North Broad Street. Currently, the venue is restricted to ages 18 and up, with efforts underway to restore its all-ages status. Parking is available in The Broadside’s lot and nearby street parking, with assistance provided by on-duty sheriffs for escorting to vehicles. Guests can find various seating options like benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools, and are encouraged to bring their own chairs if needed for health reasons or disabilities.
