New Orleans rapper Pell (aka Jared Pellerin) joined forces with electronic rock duo Big Gigantic for a new track titled “Miss Primetime.” The song combines the local emcee’s vocal stylings with Big Gigantic’s saxophone-laden electronica for an interesting combination of R&B and EDM.

“I wrote this for the woman that is so sexy, it’s considered a talent. I would put on a show for her,” Pell told The Fader. “Big Gigantic made a sexy instrumental, so this came easily. The lyrics are merely a reflection of what I was given.”

Evidently Big Gigantic was just as excited about the tune. The duo, which features saxophonist Dominic Lalli and drummer Jeremy Salken, told the publication “Miss Primetime” is their favorite song from their forthcoming release.
