As you probably know, David Bowie passed away earlier this year at the age of 69. Since then, a number of artists have paid tribute to his life and music across New Orleans, most notably during a French Quarter parade led by Arcade Fire and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
OffBeat also paid tribute to Bowie in our February issue, when we printed John Swenson’s previously unpublished 1971 interview with the iconic musician.
