New Orleans Airlift, a local artist organization whose mission is to connect communities and emphasize the importance of arts education, hosted a sunset sneak peak last week at their latest project.
The organization unveiled their new Music Box Village site in the Bywater neighborhood. Previously a roving village that popped up every now and again, the non-profit has finally found it a permanent home.
The Music Box is a public art project with a dozen already-completed musical houses. The village will be an interactive art park by day and a music venue by night.
New Orleans Airlift hopes to complete the project by October of this year.
