Pop punk pioneers New Found Glory will celebrate their 20th anniversary with a massive tour, and it looks like New Orleans on the itinerary. The band is slated to perform at the House of Blues on Friday, December 1.
In honor of their two decades together, New Found Glory will perform two full albums from their catalog each night. It’s an interesting move considering that the band’s last album, Makes Me Sick, was released little more than a month ago, though I guess they know their audience better than I do. In fact, now that I think about it, it would be kind of great if more bands played full albums from their heyday instead of whatever they just released. But I digress.
So what’s on the schedule for the New Orleans stop, you ask? That would be 2002’s Sticks and Stones and 2004’s Catalyst.
Tickets for New Found Glory’s “20 Years of Pop Punk” show at the House of Blues will go on sale Friday, June 2.
