Updated: Students in the New Orleans area interested in journalism and public relations are invited to a Networking Night sponsored by Xavier University and the Press Club of New Orleans. Representatives of local print and television media (including OffBeat) will be on hand for the event on the sixth floor (909 S. Jefferson Davis Parkway) from 6-8 p.m. Students interested in art/graphics design, broadcast, business, communication studies, English, journalism, marketing/sales, public relations, or those interested in learning about these fields are invited to attend.
