Jazz Fest 2017 is half a year away but the after show announcements have just begun to roll in.
The first big reveal is a late show from Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, who will headline The Sugar Mill in New Orleans on Friday, April 28 (the first day of Jazz Fest). JJ Grey & Mofro and New Breed Brass Band with Big Chief Monk Boudreaux will be on hand for the night’s opening sets.
Tickets for the show will go on sale this Friday, December 2.
Jazz Fest will return to New Orleans’ Fair Grounds Race Course on April 28-30 and May 4-7, 2017, and late night shows will take place at clubs across New Orleans during that time. The lineup for Jazz Fest 2017 has not yet been been revealed, but it will most likely be announced early next year.
