Music Policy Forum & Sound Music Cities present “Music Cities Together: Live” via Zoom Friday, November 13 from 1-2 p.m. CST. This week’s edition concludes the series from New Orleans with hosts Michael Bracy of Music Policy Forum and Ella Project Co-Founder, Ashlye Keaton.
Keaton and Bracy will speak to recording artist, WWOZ DJ and Activist, Cole Williams; NIVA Precinct Captain and Howlin’ Wolf Owner, Howie Kaplan; and Musician and Actor, Derrick Freeman.
They will debrief the election and preview next week’s Music Policy Forum Intensive. The session will conclude with a deep dive into the unique dynamics of the New Orleans cultural community – the state of play before the pandemic, how the community is navigating 2020 and the path forward.
