Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket announced that he will be holding a performance at Preservation hall on Friday, October 14 at midnight.

Broemel recently announced the release of his new solo album Fourth of July and shared his first single “Sleepy Lagoon” which was co-produced by Teddy Morgan.

A few names appear on the record such as Bo Koster and Tom Blankenship of My Morning Jacket, Koster having co-written a few tracks. Other names make an appearance such as Laura Veirs, Shelly Colvin, Neko Case, Jordan Caress, Richard Medek and Russ Pollard.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, July 8 at 8 a.m. and can be bought here.

The event will be 21+ and all the proceeds will go to the Preservation Hall Foundation’s education, archival, outreach and legacy initiatives.
