Experimental pop pioneers Of Montreal will kick off their spring tour with a show at the Howlin’ Wolf in New Orleans on Wednesday, April 4. The Kevin Barnes-led neo-psychedelic outfit will be on the road in support of their 2016 album Innocence Reaches and their 2017 EP Rune Husk .

Of Montreal last took the stage in New Orleans back in 2015, when they made another appearance at the Howlin’ Wolf in support of their 2015 LP Aureate Gloom. We caught up with Barnes ahead of that show for an interview that touched on the group’s songwriting process, theatrical live shows and no-so-psychedelic inspiration.
