On Friday, April 28th, fans of Hip-Hop legend Master P will gather to celebrate his life and achievements in a birthday bash that will kick off at 8 p.m in the Smoothie King Center. Born Percy Robert Miller, Sr. on April 29th right here in New Orleans, Master P has achieved legendary status in the entertainment industry. 

Last year’s celebration was filled with great entertainment and featured surprise guests like Nelly, Snoop Dogg, and Keith Sweat. This year’s event will be just as memorable as fans come together to honor Master P’s incredible legacy.

Master P started as an independent rap artist; he continued to grow into a songwriter, record producer, and record executive. He’s also one of the most prominent businessmen to come out of New Orleans, and his success as an entrepreneur, investor, actor, and even professional basketball player is well-known.

Aside from being an investor in Rap Snacks, a brand geared toward rapper-endorsed chips, Master P is still reinventing himself in other ways. In 2020, he launched his food line, Uncle P’s, creating products such as seasonings, pancake mix, syrup, grits, rice, beans, oatmeal, and even ice cream. He’s making a tremendous impact in the community with his positive influence, donating a portion of the profits to develop real estate in Black communities. Master P is now putting his non-profit organization in the forefront called “You Are Not Alone” to advocate for mental health awareness in memory of his daughter.
