New Orleans Saint and former Crimson Tide running back Mark Ingram will co-host “The Crystal Ball Championship Pre-Game Party” Sunday night at Blaine Kern’s Mardi Gras World by the Convention Center with fellow former Tide member Marcell Darius and former LSU Fighting Tigers Patrick Peterson and 2003 BCS MVP Justin Vincent. The party starts at 9 p.m. and will include appearances by current and former football players including the Saints’ Jimmy Graham, Jesse Palmer, David Pollack, Joseph Addai, Bennie Brazell, Early Doucet and Travis Daniels. Music for the evening will be provided by DJ Yancy with a live performance by rapper Yelawolf.

The party’s title is a play on words referring to the trophy awarded to the winner of Monday night’s BCS Championship Game, and a portion of the night’s proceeds go to a local Veterans’ Affairs organization. Tickets are on sale now.
