One of the three biggest days on the annual Mardi Gras Indian calendar, Super Sunday, took place this year on March 18. Back at its longtime location in A.L. Davis Park for only the second year since Hurricane Katrina, the festival that brings together many Mardi Gras Indian tribes with music performances and food vendors was graced with a day of perfect Spring weather. Included in the photos are the great Big Chiefs Bo Dollis and Monk Boudreaux, and even Mayor Mitch Landrieu makes a cameo, posing with next to a Mardi Gras Indian.
