New Orleans keyboard player Marco Benevento has teamed up with Gene Ween, and the duo has record a cover of a beloved Beatles song.
Benevento and Aaron Freeman, better known by his stage name Gene Ween, under which he performed as one half of the brothers Ween, have been working together lately.
Freeman helped Benevento write lyrics for his upcoming album, Swift, marking the first time Benevento has sung on one of his albums.
Benevento also played keyboard on Freeman’s most recent album. Freeman joined the Marco Benevento Trio on stage recently to perform the Paul McCartney love song “Why Don’t We Do It In The Road?”
