The Maple Leaf Bar has revealed its music schedule for the days and nights during Jazz Fest.

The lineup features a mix of regular local acts and out-of-town performers, often in collaboration with one another. On most days the venue will host multiple shows, including gigs with 3am start times on both Sundays during the fest.

One notable slot on the schedule is the “Big Secret Show” slated for 10pm on Saturday, April 29. This act won’t even be announced until the day before the show, so it’s safe to assume it’s someone noteworthy (our guess is that it’s an artist who is performing at the Fairgrounds on Friday, April 28).

Other interesting nuggets on the lineup include Johnny Vidacovich, Skerik, John Medeski and Oteil Burbridge on April 28, Johnny Vidacovich, Sonny Landreth and Oteil Burbridge on May 5, a James Brown Birthday Tribute on May 6, a Grant Green tribute with Eddie Roberts, Skerik, Alan Evans, and more.

Additional announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
