The Manship Theatre is ushering in the holiday season with a lineup of events set to captivate audiences in Baton Rouge. With jazz, Cajun holiday music, soulful vocals and family-friendly performances, the theatre’s 2024 holiday programming offers something for everyone to enjoy downtown.
The season kicks off with Cool Winter Nights and Hot Jazz on December 3 and 4 at 7:30 p.m. This concert brings a jazzy holiday vibe to the stage, featuring local musicians who blend smooth jazz with seasonal classics, setting the perfect mood for festive celebrations.
On December 5 at 7:30 p.m., Grammy Award-winning band BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet takes the stage with Christmas Bayou, a show that infuses the holiday season with a unique Louisiana flair. This performance promises traditional Cajun music infused with holiday cheer.
For families seeking a fun holiday experience, Santa’s Little Helpers offers a kid-centered, interactive show on December 6 at 2 p.m.
Rounding out the season, A Very Soulful Christmas with Morgan James on December 12 at 7:30 p.m. brings a soulful, gospel-infused holiday celebration.
