The Greta Heritage Festival will take over 25 city blocks in Gretna, LA when it celebrates its 22nd anniversary this weekend.
Out-of-town acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Melissa Etheridge, Kool & The Gang, LaAnn Rimes, Blackberry Smoke and The Temptations Review will perform at the event, which runs from Friday to Sunday.
A variety of local artists will be on hand as well, including Dumpstaphunk, Cowboy Mouth, Rockin’ Dopsie Jr., Dave Jordan & The NIA, Amanda Shaw, Lost Bayou Ramblers, The Vettes, New Orleans Suspects, Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes, Jon Cleary and many more.
Music will take place on four stages, with Kool & The Gang headlining the main stage on Friday, Lynyrd Skynyrd headlining on Saturday and Melissa Etheridge headlining on Sunday. There will be an assortment of other activities, craft and German beer areas to carnival rides and an Italian village.
Single day tickets are now on sale for $15, and weekend passes are available for $35. The prices will increase to $20 and $45, respectively, at the gate. Children under 12 may attend for free.
