Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra’s Happy Hour Concert at Tipitina’s Promises a Holiday Extravaganza

The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) will be presenting a special Happy Hour concert at Tipitina’s on December 20, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.. The event promises to be an immersive evening of classical and contemporary fusion with a holiday twist.

LPO’s Happy Hour series is renowned for its casual and engaging experiences while bringing the community together through music and camaraderie. The December 20th event will feature special guests, including members of the pop Louisiane group Sweet Crude and talented students from the Plessy Honors Quartet at Homer Plessy Community School, representing LPO Academy.

The program for the evening promises a diverse range of musical delights, from Nutcracker excerpts to holiday tunes performed by various ensembles. The concert will conclude with a grand finale featuring the timeless classic, “Sleigh Ride,” performed by the Brass Quintet and Electric Andersons.

Doors open at 5:00 PM, with the concert kicking off at 6:00 p.m.. The approximate duration of the performance is 60 minutes. Please note that this is an 18+ performance, and no children will be allowed.
