Live Nation North American Concerts has announced that Mark Roberts will assume the role of Sr. Marketing Manager for the company’s Louisiana and Mississippi operations immediately.
A New Orleans resident, Roberts was previously the Director of Marketing for the House of Blues New Orleans, where he worked for 16 years.
“Mark is an incredible talent who comes to us with great knowledge of the New Orleans market and region,” says Russell Doussan, President of Live Nation Entertainment New Orleans. “We are extremely excited for Mark to join our team and make an immediate impact on our growing concert business in the region.”
“Mark has been instrumental in marketing our venue for the past 16 years and his knowledge and experience has been a true asset,” adds House of Blues General Manager, Robert Rizzuto. “We are thrilled to see him further his career within our Live Nation family.”
Live Nation currently puts on concerts at the Smoothie King Center and Champions Square, in addition to numerous other venues across Louisiana and Mississippi. Upcoming shows include Dolly Parton, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Billy Joel, among others.
There is currently no word regarding who will replace Roberts at the House of Blues New Orleans.
