Live After Five Announces Spring 2025 Lineup

Baton Rouge’s longest-running free concert series, Live After Five, has announced its Spring 2025 lineup, featuring a mix of local favorites, regional powerhouses and nationally recognized acts. The six-week concert series will take place at Rhorer Plaza on Fridays from 5 PM to 8 PM, with the exception of the April 4th Baton Rouge Blues Fest Kick-Off, which will extend to 8:30 PM.

This year’s Live After Five lineup includes a range of genres, from funk and soul to high-energy brass and blues:

  • April 4: Baton Rouge Blues Fest Kick-Off – Jonathon “Boogie” Long, Jovin Webb & Hanna PK (Baton Rouge Blues)

  • April 11: Pocket Chocolate ft. Zach Edwards & The Medicine (Funk, blues, soul, rock)

  • April 25: Phat Hat (Funk/soul)

  • May 2: Six String Soldiers (US Army Field Band) ft. David St. Romain (Singer/songwriter)

  • May 9: The Mixed Nuts (“America’s Favorite Party Band”)

  • May 16: Michael Foster Project ft. Golden Sioux Indians (Brass band, Mardi Gras Indian tradition)

In addition to live music, attendees can enjoy food vendors, kids’ activities and a family-friendly atmosphere in downtown Baton Rouge.

Live After Five, Inc. aims to foster a thriving Baton Rouge cultural scene based on a cooperation between local businesses, governmental agencies and the residential community, all working together to ensure a vibrant future. It is a volunteer-based organization representing many private and public parties interested in keeping the Baton Rouge music scene alive. A close partner with the Downtown Development District and Visit Baton Rouge, LA5, Inc. produces the largest free concert series in Baton Rouge.
