Last night, Lil Wayne performed two songs from his new album, Tha Carter IV on the MTV Video Music Awards. One, “How to Love,” has been out for a few months. The second, “John,” is a heavy rocker that concludes with a demonstration of Weezy’s love/hate relationship with electric guitars. He once again strapped it on, played a few chords as if he’d never played a guitar before (once again seemingly escaping the soundman’s notice) before he throws it down.
