Comedian, actor and writer Lewis Black will perform at The Fillmore New Orleans on April 16 as part of his 2023 “Off The Rails” Tour. Additionally, Black’s highly anticipated stand-up special, Lewis Black: Tragically, I Need You, is set to release globally on May 2. Recently, Black was announced as a new guest host for The Daily Show on Comedy Central, a role he has previously held as the longest-running contributor to the program. Black’s shows often end with audience-written rants that have been submitted by fans worldwide. These rants are available on his podcast, Rant Cast.
In addition to his stand-up work, Black has appeared in various films, including Universal’s Accepted, co-starring Jonah Hill, Blake Lively, and Justin Long. He also starred in Man of the Year opposite Robin Williams, Christopher Walken, Laura Linney and Jeff Goldblum.
