Funk maestros Lettuce will return to New Orleans on Tuesday, January 17 when they headline Republic.
The show will mark the latest Crescent City performance by the Jazz Fest staples, who last took the stage here as part of the Bear Creek Bayou Festival, where they played a set each day.
Lettuce will be on the road in support of their newly released EP, Mt. Crushmore. The collection of tunes finds the members of Lettuce—drummer Adam Deitch, guitarists Adam Smirnoff and Eric Krasno, bassist Erick “Jesus” Coomes, keyboardist Neal Evans, keyboardist and vocalist Nigel Hall, saxophonist Ryan Zoidis, and trumpet player Eric Bloom—teaming up with producer Joel Hamilton (Elvis Costello, Pretty Lights) for seven tracks of forward-thinking funk.
Tickets for Lettuce’s upcoming tour will go on sale this Friday, November 18. You can also give Mt. Crushmore a listen below.
